Delivering support with councils

We work nationally and have been commissioned by several local authorities across the country. Since 2021, through our place savings programmes focusing on advice, guidance and support on costs reduction and sustainable solutions, we have engaged with thousands of businesses and have identified more millions of pounds in savings.

Since launching in March 2021, we have offered our depth and breadth of experience to Local Authorities, providing strategic support for and operational delivery of a broad range of projects. Our team of experts design and deliver place programmes focused on reducing business costs and identifying sustainable solutions to micro and SME businesses nationally.

Haringey Borough Council

PSP was appointed to design and implement a cost reduction scheme as part of Haringey Council's Good Economy Recovery Plan and High Street Recovery Action Plan.

A further programme, SustainHaringey has launched to support businesses to reduce business costs as well as carbon.

East Hampshire District Council

East Hampshire District Council commissioned PSP to produce a Covid-19 Recovery Plan to cover the main towns and villages within the borough as part of measures to support their recovery from the coronavirus crisis.

Havant Borough Council

Havant Borough Council commissioned PSP to provide a Covid-19 Recovery Plan for the centres of Cowplain, Emsworth, Havant, Leigh Park, Mengham, Waterlooville and West Town.

Spelthorne Borough Council

PSP completed a 6-month business costs savings programme commissioned by Spelthorne Borough Council and delivery focused on the three town centres of Ashford, Sunbury and Shepperton, with outreach to approximately 600 businesses.

A further programme, SustainSpelthorne has launched to support businesses to reduce business costs as well as carbon.

Blaby District Council

Blaby District Council commissioned PSP to deliver a 20-week business savings outreach programme, funded by European Regional Development Fund and Welcome Back funding.

Exeter City Council

Exeter City Council commissioned PSP to work with one of its Business Improvement District, InExeter BID, deliver a Business Health Clinic to local businesses operating within the area.

Warwickshire County Council

Warwickshire County Council commissioned PSP to deliver several webinars to local businesses focusing on the challenges they face and offering practical advice to reduce energy expenditures.

London Borough of Sutton

London Borough of Sutton has supported programs with PSP through successful Sutton BID. Programs are focussed on providing support to businesses on becoming more cost-efficient and reducing carbon. This program was funded through the ARG fund.

London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham

PSP have been commissioned by the Shepherds Bush Business Forum supported by the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. This programme will provide Shepherd's Bush businesses with the opportunity to receive audits on their business costs including energy, telecoms, merchant services, water, and insurance.

Cotswolds District Council

PSP worked in partnership with a place management consultancy to support the local community.

London Borough of Hackney

As part of the Hackney Building Business Series, PSP were commissioned to deliver a webinar focussed on supporting businesses to navigate rising business and operational costs.

Tower Hamlets Council

PSP has been commissioned to deliver a Cost Savings Programme for Tower Hamlets Council.

The focus for the programme will be to deliver support and cost savings to businesses in Whitechapel.
