Throughout the pandemic and now the energy crisis, it has been a real struggle for businesses to keep their heads above water. Prices seem to be spiralling and there does not seem to be an end to it.
Local businesses and high streets have been feeling the crunch for some time now – the pandemic and the energy crisis are all adding to the woes of local businesses.
Keeping costs under control can mean the difference between a business surviving and failing. This has brought about a need for advice and guidance from a trusted partnership.
Last year was an ideal time for cost saving experts to help local communities throughout the UK. PSP ran a 3 month pilot between March and June 2021 in Tottenham to gauge whether our services would be beneficial to the local community. It was an overwhelming success and the PSP team identified more than £89,000 in savings for the local businesses. We made recommendations and identified opportunities to support businesses.
Since then PSP have been appointed by Haringey Council to help Haringey’s businesses to recover from the adverse impact of the pandemic. Providing a free cost savings advice and support for all small businesses based in Haringey, maybe just the help that is needed and perhaps just in time.
The Haringey Cost Savings Programme is fully funded by Haringey Council’s Good Economy Recovery Plan and High Street Recovery Action Plan (HSRAP) and PSP are delighted to be collaborating with Wood Green BID and the Haringey Business Association. We are also pleased that the programme is supported by the Mayor of London.

We will be running this free programme, that is fully funded by Haringey Council, in the following areas:
· Turnpike Lane, Green Lanes and Hornsey – 1 February to 31 March 2022
· Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Tottenham and Wood Green (including for Future Wood Green BID members) – 1 April to 30 June 2022
· Businesses located on industrial estates - 1 February to 30 June 2022
