The Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District (JQBID) has revealed the strong results of its partnership with Place Support Partnership (PSP), helping local businesses cut costs and navigate ongoing financial pressures.
Through the initiative, 25 businesses across the Jewellery Quarter have engaged with PSP’s cost-saving service, unlocking a total of £160,724.36 in identified savings. On average, participating businesses have saved £10,045 each, delivering an impressive return on investment of 24.35 times the original programme cost.
The scheme focuses on reducing overheads such as electricity and other essential business expenses, providing expert analysis and access to more competitive rates.

Delivering real impact for local businesses
Businesses in the Quarter are already seeing tangible benefits, including:
A restaurant achieving a £3,675 saving on electricity
A communications agency saving £864.96 on electricity
These savings are helping businesses to reinvest in their operations, improve resilience, and better manage rising costs.
